Despite Corona a great selection of cakes and Coffee Togo :-) Unfortunately Corona. We will come back as soon as the virus allows. Keep it up. Pastry shop highly recommended!

Large selection of cakes and pies. Recommendable.

After a lap in the fog and sleet around the Feldberg, we urgently needed a load of Black Forest cake. And we were not disappointed! Super tasty and friendly!

Cozy café with a terrace overlooking Lake Titisee. Nice waiter, gives nice tips about recipes. Delicious cheese spätzle eaten. Very powerful but oh so delicious!

Very tasty 😋 the Black Forest is top, also the forest berry tower and the apple pie. Clear recommendation! Everything super fresh from the pastry shop 🍰🥧🎂☕.

Surprisingly good! Breakfast was great, staff very nice and I think the price is also great. In such a central place I expected more expensive.

A very nice cafe. Very large selection of cakes and pies. Very tasty 😋 visually and also in taste. In addition, a wonderful view of the Titisee. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Definitely recommended.

I ordered a latte macchiato, but it was pretty cold. The mood is nice and authentic.

Briefly about the previous review. We were there too and found the staff to be correct and friendly to the company. It was rather strange how they behaved here. We don't want to say much more about it, we are not entitled to either. Five stars from us, because we were very satisfied and that's why we'd love to come back. Keep it up.

Dear Ms. Sandmüller, I give us 5 stars - because we do a good job, which is anything but easy nowadays. Even if you see it differently. It may be that something went wrong with you - but we should leave the church in the village and not mix up facts. Fact 1: You have sent a small child to reserve a place that is max. is intended for 2 people. Fact 2: You come, 2 adults - a large stroller - and dog to take this place. The colleague points out that the café is fully occupied at the moment. Then you push your stroller into the café, so that the colleague had to point out again that it is fully occupied. Fact 3: So you left the cafe and went out. There the entire entrance area was blocked with your stroller while you were busy with your mobile phone. During this time, your companion was walking up and down the terrace. This went on for a maximum of 15 minutes. Fact 4: You just sent guests away from us with the remark that they would have to wait. Here we are of the opinion that it is now up to our decisions to whom we (in today's world) can and above all are allowed to assign which place. These guests could be seated at a table that would have been unsuitable for you. Fact 5: in the meantime we have cleaned a larger table that was intended for you. Fact 6: Since you stormed in full of indignation, with the comment - you would have been waiting for a long time, you received the hint - that we have to seat our guests as currently stipulated by the legislature and that another table will already be provided for you. Fact 7: You didn’t like this for whatever reason. I would like to ask you, before you give such a rating on the Internet in the future - please stick to the truth even if you subjectively feel different at this moment. Best regards. Very friendly staff. Price / performance is top. A huge ham bread for a few euros. Super great.

The Black Forest was delicious, but the service was unheard of. When asked to order something, the service staff didn't come, but gossiped at the counter. After another request, it was said that they were busy. I could still see how they had WhatsApp open on the cell phone. Then with the blink of an eye they came ... Not a second time with such a service. Still 2 stars, just because of the delicious cake. September 22nd, noon

Worst service ever

The ice cream sundae was delicious, except for a wasp that was at the bottom and that I ate. The waitress found it amusing, unfortunately there was no discount or apology.

We found this great pastry shop within walking distance of the holiday villa La Maison Titisee that we booked! Fresh, homemade cakes - wonderful!

Nice cafe for Black Forest cake and many other yummy desserts. The pizza is superb!

Very very welcome, for the French. Very pleasant setting, very clean, very typical, the waitresses are in costume. Breakfast, brunch, 4 hours etc. The cakes are delicious and everything is homemade. A must if you go to Titisee. Thanks to the teams

I went here to try the highly rated Black Forest cake and was quite disappointed. I took 4 pieces home with me. The price of € 3.50 is probably due to the location and not the issue with a very good cake. The service staff were very friendly and helpful and the home transport went quite well, despite the two-hour drive. When I tried the cake, I thought to myself that I would have gotten at least as good a cake from us at home. No soil and especially no kirsch. The layers didn't hold together well either and slipped apart when parting with a fork. Overall a pretty dry affair and therefore my 3 stars. Since the Schwarzwälder Kirsch is the flagship of the regional confectioners' guild, I expect quality in an otherwise obviously very good cafe.

Great terrace & interior, friendly staff and when asked "Can we pay?" was responded to immediately. What more do you want? 😊

The cake selection is gorgeous and the seating really nice with a lovely view of the lake. We just had the misfortune of being served by a very rude waitress who actually made us so uncomfortable we had to leave. After the two of us entered the large empty café on a weekday morning, she abruptly told us to move from a four seat table to a smaller table next to the only other couple in there, which was a bit comical cause as our orders arrived we actually had to shift table decorations off the table ourselves in order for her to fit our coffee and breakfast on the table. But we sort of chuckled it off. An older couple then arrived and were a little confused about where they should sit/whether they had to wear covid masks while outside and she was also really unnecessarily dismissive and rude towards them. And then the bread was mouldy. And I mean, this sort of thing happens, it would have been fine, but when I let her know she just stared at it before stalking off with it, without so much as a "sorry" or a "thank you", much less offering us any sort of replacement. Pretty basic stuff. She later came past and mechanically asked us if everything had been okay ("Alles Recht?"), and when I awkwardly joked that everything but the bread being mouldy she just ignored it and stalked off again. Such a shame because we ended up having to leave it got so weird and uncomfortable but we would have loved to have stayed a little longer and enjoy some of their cake! And we had visited the day before and had quite a nice experience, though I did recall watching her also being rude and impatient with another really lovely less-experienced colleague.

Their black Forrest cake ( Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte) is the best ever I tried.!! Totally recommended.

The black forest cake wasn't as good as I expected.

We are very disappointed with the staff AND the cakes. 1. We ordered our food and drinks (a big menu). While waiting, kids wanted to drink water, we gave them water from our bottles. Staff immediately warned us not to drink anything from outside! What a rude behaviour! 2. They initially said they close at 6.30pm. 10 minutes later they said they need to close around 5.30pm and told us to pay the bill and leave. 3. Cakes were dry and not tasteful at all.

The place for Schwarzwälder Kirchtorte. Charming and a little old-school. Cozy.

Yum! Have stopped here several times over the last 20 years...great torte and kuchen.

Great little cafe serving Black Forest cake, and a decent amount of other small dishes and drinks. The Black Forest cake is so fluffy, so light - very different to what I’ve had elsewhere and very very fresh. A must try here. There is an English menu, so do ask for it - which I have included in the pictures, staff speak English very well here.

Nice Dutch Breakfast in here.. very generous with quantity. Cosy play very good desert choices and smily and helpful staff. However, the location is amazing and beautiful view, warm and clean and they provide a free WIFI for the gusts 🌹👍 Highly recommendable, take break and have a coffee.

Do the tourist thing and eat Black Forest cake here, best one I’ve had. Breakfast and coffee good too. While the menu was in German she understood English quite well. Was easy to get to from the tourist information centre, and a 10 minute walk up to the forest area and a pond.

The best Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte I've ever had. Unfortunately I have no Fotos, but the my piece was really big.

The best place in Titisee to have a Black Forest cakes. The ladies had chocolate cake. That was amazing as well. The coffee is served with a small glass of water.

We were at Cafe Becker for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We think it has a great price-performance ratio and the service was really considerate, fast and kind! Thanks for the great breakfast :) PS: unfortunately, we were too full to have cake after the breakfast so we didn’t try them, but they really look amazing!

Best schwarzwald cake in town!

All the cakes look amazing but came especially to try the black forest cake. This is quite the stack, with equal layers of cream and chocolate sponge, with a refreshing layer of cherries that is not overly sweet and a lovely biscuit base for some crunch. This cake manages to remain light and airy but be wary if you're a light weight - it's a bit on the boozey side!

Cake and coffee were superb, and away from crowds

Awesome place to visit to try the famous Black Forest authentic cake. The prices are very reasonable (3.5€ per piece) and the staff are super friendly and not to forget pretty. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Titisee 😊
